Harvey is the founder and managing director of Harvey’s the Jewellers. Harvey is personally based at Middleton, the location of the business headquarters as well as its flagship retail site Heading an experienced and highly capable team, Harvey is on hand to offer his personal expertise and advice.
Harvey is also a founder member and now Chairman of one of Britain’s largest jewellery buying consortiums, the THJ Group.
With 25 years experience in the jewellery trade, Harvey has established a highly respected and leading jewellery organisation and has been recognised with many awards on a local and national basis.
Joan was the original member of Harvey's team. She has been a huge asset throughout, from the initial launch and development and ongoing success of the business since 1986. Joan has worked in the jewellery trade for over 25 years and is a fully qualified jeweller(R.J.Dip). In addition, she has carried out diamond-grading courses in Antwerp, Europe's diamond capital.
Joan's great contribution to the overall success of Harvey's The Jewellers' flagship branch in Middleton was formally recognised in 2004 with her promotion to Manageress. Joan's positive managerial influence has helped drive the success of the business to new heights.
Christine has been an invaluable and experienced member of Harvey's team for over 19 years, building on 10 years prior experience within the jewellery trade. With a wealth of overall knowledge, Chris has principally specialised in the watch and clock area of our comprehensive product range.
Since the earliest days of Middleton being established, Christine has been a huge part of our success story.
Gloria is also a highly able and experienced member of our team and has contributed greatly to the successful growth of the business. Gloria joined Harvey's the Jewellers in 1990, having trained at a leading high-class jewellers, like Joan, Gloria is also a fully qualified jeweller(P.J.Dip) and holds diamond-grading certificates from Antwerp, Europe's diamond capital. Both are therefore, fully trained and qualified to carry out legal valuation services on the premises.
Joanne is a high calibre member of our growing team who now has over 6 years experience at Harvey's the Jewellers. As well as having developed strong retail and customer service skills, Joanne is a great asset in the display and marketing of our jewellery products within the branch here at Middleton. Joanne's talents are strongly backed up through passing the highly recognised jewellery qualification (P .J.Dip).
Lizzy has worked at Harvey’s since leaving school. She has over the years developed her career to achieve an important role within the business. Lizzy specialises in Jewellery marketing and sales. Lizzy has successfully completed the first stage of the professional Jewellers diploma course, passing with straight A Grades. Lizzy is a highly respected and popular member of the Harvey’s team.
Caroline has been a great asset in strengthening our team since joining Harvey's The Jewellers 5 years ago. Building on her previous retail experience, Caroline's natural enthusiasm and; Interest In jewellery and diamond products has made her very popular with all our customers.
Sue brought her high level of experience in major retail outlets to develop further our established team when she joined Harvey's The Jewellers in 2003. Sue's major contribution has been to strengthen the administrative base of our organisation in terms of IT capability and stock analysis. In addition, Sue provides a great role in supporting her colleagues in sales and marketing.
Deborah is a valuable member of the team, who has now worked at Harvey's the Jewellers for over 6' years. Deborah provides a valued support service to our retail operation with her vital contribution to the pristine cleaning and display of glass and gift products within the store
Bianca is our highly popular new member to the team, having joined Harvey's The Jewellers this Summer. Bianca is hardworking and enthusiastic and has quickly made a valuable contribution in all areas of our busy retail operation.
